Sulawesi’s unique flora and fauna are also found in the forests outside the protected area. We see this as an opportunity to support the communities to conserve biodiversity in their forests. We have just started this program in one of the community forest areas in Central Sulawesi, and we hope it will become a microcosm of the past and the future when people and animals coexist in harmony.
